Apr 13, 2017 · My Engine was a professionally built 331 stroker with Edelbrock Pefermer RPM heads. The Edelbrock web site states to use Champion RC12YC or equivalent. I looked at a Cross Ref for NGK and came up with BKR5E and BKR5E-11.

Can't find the recommened spark plug info on Edelbrock's website for Performer RPM heads #60899 (small block 64cc, straight plug.) I assume they use the old style plugs with metal gaskets, like an AC44 or Champion J12Y.

My BB timing is 18 initial and and 38 at 3000 rpm's, and running a stock Edelbrock Performer 750 with M-21 Muncie with 3:42 Eaton Posi. My plugs are gapped at .035.
Will be replacing my ported 915 heads 2.14/1.81 with some performer RPM heads in a couple months. These are going on a 451 with 14cc dome Ross pistons. Edelbrock says to use the Champion RC12YC long reach spark plug. I believe it is a heat range of R. Does anyone know if this will be too hot a plug for a 12.5 to 1 C/R motor?

I was just wonderin what spark plug gap I should be runnin on my 350. Its has canfield aluminum heads (195cc runners, 64cc chambers, 202 valves). Im runnin champion RC12YC plugs since thats what my heads call for. Also im using an aftermarket distributor with a 50,000 volt coil. Should I just use stock gap or widen them up some? thanks

I have Edelbrock RPM aluminum heads what is the correct spark plug gap? I am running pertonix flame thrower III coil and distributor it ran fine for while now on hard acceleration getting a back fire. when accelerate slow no issues
